🔍 Context
Due to regulatory requirements, the module needed a rehaul to be compliant with new legal statements. With the team, we took advantage of this need to audit and improve the UX journey in order to increase adoption and the usage.
🧐How I've proceeded
User-Centric Discovery: Conducted in-depth user interviews and shadowing sessions to understand real-world time tracking behaviors. Analyzed user journey data to identify drop-off points and friction areas in the existing flow.
Data-Driven Insights: Combined quantitative analytics (usage patterns, completion rates) with qualitative feedback to pinpoint specific UX pain points. Segmented users by company size and industry to understand different use cases.
Continuous UX Improvements: Redesigned information architecture to match mental models of how users think about time tracking. Implemented progressive disclosure to reduce cognitive load and smart defaults based on user patterns and preferences.
Validation & Iteration: Launched systematic user testing comparing old vs. new workflows. Monitored adoption metrics, usage, and user satisfaction. Iterated based on both quantitative performance and qualitative user feedback throughout the 2-year roadmap implementation.
Strategic documentations : Defined a 2y strategy for the Time Verticale including Integrations and In house development based on a deep research (market, competition, tickets, internal feedback)
Tech debt process improvement : Defined a process to include root cause analysis of debug tickets into development cycles and reduce legacy code.
